Standard rifle manufactured at the Waffenwerk Oberspree Kornbusch & Co. in 1917. Standard features include 29" barrel, five shot flush fitting magazine, full length stock, half length hand guard, cleaning rod, and bayonet lug. There is a steel grommet through the buttstock and finger grooves in the fore end. Has a distinctive "Lange Vizier" rear sight commonly called the roller coaster. Gun has import marks. Rear stock has a seam with many battle bruises. Very good bore. Mix-matched numbers on receiver safety, and bolt. Retains 90% of the arsenal refinish. Barrel bands are patina. Has a distinctive front sight muzzle protector.
