This fine little Winchester was manufactured in 1923. In addition to the special order half magazine, this carbine is chambered for the most desirable caliber offered in the 94 Carbine, the .38-55. Standard features include a 20" round barrel, folding carbine rear sight, post front, saddle ring stud (ring missing), curved carbine buttplate, walnut stocks and blued finish. The barrel retains 60-70% original blue starting to thin and plum. Barrel band has traces of finish. Receiver retains approximately 20% original blue, the balance turning smooth brown-blue-plum. Wood is excellent with no cracks or chips. Fine working order. Strong clean bore. Nice special order Carbine in a rare caliber.
