This special order Carbine features a half magazine and is chambered for the popular .38-40 cartridge. Manufactured in 1912. Standard features include 20" round barrel, blued finish, lever action, walnut stocks, carbine butt, with the post front sight, and carbine ladder rear. Has a replacement ring in the original stud. Barrel retains approximately 85% original factory blue with some light freckling. Frame has flaked to approximately 30% with the balance patina. Stocks are excellent and proud to metal with no cracks or chips. Action is fine. Strong bore with light frosting.
