This standard rifle was manufactured in 1912 and is chambered for the .30 Army cartridge (.30-40 Krag). Standard features include a 28" round barrel, full blued finish, case colored hammer, walnut stocks, steel shotgun buttplate and sporting sights. Gun remains in excellent condition. Barrel retains 85% original factory blue with high edge wear. Left side of the frame retains approximately 75% original high polish factory blue, while the right side is about 30%. Magazine and lever retains approximately 40-50%, balance smooth patina. Wood is excellent with no cracks or chips, and is proud to metal. Left side of frame has filler screws where it was drilled and tapped for the Lyman 21 receiver sight. Very good clean bore and perfect action.
