This Winchester lever action Model 1894 rifle is chambered in the .38-55 cartridge, the most powerful and desirable caliber offered in this model. It is standard in all respects, albeit the exception of the rather scarce exposed 2/3 magazine. Barrel measures 26" and features a highly grained walnut stock with rifle buttplate. Barrel and tube retain 70% of the original factory blue with thinning and freckling in spots. Frame has flaked to a smooth gun metal grey. Wood is proud to metal, not cracked, but has one sliver at wrist. Comes with standard sporting sights. Excellent strong clean bore and perfect action. Manufactured in 1912. Fine shootable 1894.
