This rifle was manufactured in 1890. Standard features include a 26" full octagon barrel, chambered for the .40-60 WCF cartridge. Case colored receiver has patinad out with freckling. Walnut stocks are very good with a 2" crack at wrist. Barrel is basically a brown patina with a 1/2" dent on top flat. Finish is freckled. Rear sight elevator is missing. Bore has visible rifling. Action is fine. Good restoration project.
