These rifles were made from 1876 to 1891. This .32 caliber rimfire sporting rifle features a 28" full octagon barrel, case colored frame, lever, buttplate, and varnished walnut stocks. It remains in spectacular condition. The barrel retains approximately 95% of the original factory blue with some freckling. Frame retains approximately 30-40% case colors with the balance greyed out. Fire blue still evident on screws. Patterned out case colors on buttplate with visible traces. Near mint varnished walnut stocks with no cracks. Near mint bore and perfect action. Front sight is hooded globe with long range tang rear sight and filler in rear barrel slot. It would be hard to find a nicer No. 2 Ballard in today's market.
