Offered is an early Ruger Super Blackhawk single action revolver chambered for the powerful .44 magnum cartridge. Manufactured in 1960, the second year of production. It is pre-warning. Standard features include 7-1/2" barrel, blued finish, high ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, serrated trigger, and wide spur serrated hammer. The grips have been replaced with a well fitting set of what appears to be original ivory. It has a completely blued finish. The action is smooth as silk and may have been custom tuned. Bore is mint. Gun retains virtually 99% of the original factory finish, showing no signs of any real use. A beautiful stalwart revolver that coupled with the blued finish, ivory grips, and custom action job should make a fine shooting or hunting big bore hand cannon.
