This carbine was manufactured in 1901. Features include a 20" barrel, full magazine, case colored frame, carbine walnut stock, post front sight, folding ladder rear, and saddle ring on left side. Gun has been completely restored. Frame, lever, hammer, and buttplate retain most of the case colors. Wood has been replaced and exhibits beautiful fiery grain. Barrel and tube retain most of their reapplied finish. Winchester markings are no longer readable on barrel. "45-70" stamped at breach. Bore is rather rough. Handsome as refinished.
