Offered is an extremely fine condition Colt martially inspected swing-out cylinder Army revolver. Standard features include a 6" barrel, six shot, double action, chambered for the .38 long Colt cartridge, and smooth two piece walnut grips. Has the R.A.C. (Renaldo Carr) inspector marks on bottom of both grips and left side of frame. Back of cylinder has a "K" inspector mark and is numbered 8229. Bottom of barrel is stamped "4097 R.A.C". The last patent date is March 5th, '95. Butt has a lanyard ring. Gun retains approximately 95% of the original high polish factory blue with generous amounts of fire blue on small parts. Action is perfect. Bore is mint. This revolver is in extremely wonderful condition and exhibits the later military updates such as the addition of the lanyard loop. Grips are near mint. It is getting extremely difficult to find high condition martially marked revolvers from this era in this condition.
