Rifle was manufactured in 1882. Standard rifle features a 28" round barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, blued finish and walnut stock. Caliber is not marked on barrel or carrier, which would indicate it is chambered for the .45-75 standard cartridge. This rifle is in basic relic condition. It is a mix of rust, patina and splotchy metal. Very good wood. Working order. Visible rifling but worn.
