This standard rifle was manufactured in 1903. Features include a blued 26" full octagon barrel; full magazine; color cased frame, lever hammer, and buttplate; and walnut stocks. Retains approximately 90% original blue on barrel and tube starting to dull and freckle. Has standard sporting sights. Excellent stock with no cracks or chips but is slightly shy to the metal, indicating it was refinished at one time. 70% bright blue on loading gate. Some nice fire blue on screws (two boogered). 70-80% original case colors, some vivid. Nice color on hammer and lever, and traces on buttplate. Strong bore. Perfect action. Very nice clean example with lots of original finish.
