This is an early standard revolver manufactured in 1913. Features a 4" barrel, blued finish, six shot, double action, chambered for the .38 cartridge, and Colt hard rubber grips. Gun retains approximately 80% of the original factory blue with fire blue still on trigger. Excellent frosted bore and perfect lock up. The grip strap is stamped "Property of Adam's Express Co.". These guns were issued to guards on the different railway and express lines to protect the merchandise in which they were entrusted. Commonly found on trains, mail rooms, and with yard guards.
