Rifle was manufactured in 1903. Standard features include 24" full octagon barrel, full magazine, walnut stocks, blued finish, chambered for the .38-40 Winchester cartridge. Entire gun has been refinished. Wood is a new replacement. Metal retains virtually all of the reapplied blue finish, but you can see some pitting under the finish on the frame. Buttplate has turned purple. Minor rusting on bottom tang. Perfect working order. Bore shows some rifling but rough.
