This rifle was manufactured in 1892. Chambered for the .44-40 cartridge. Barrel has been shortened to 20" and is full octagon. Full magazine. Wood is very good, has been refinished, with no cracks or chips. Metal has some wiped on finish and is basically a blue-ish brown. Action works. Bore needs cleaning and is rough.
