This is a standard Colt Single Action Army Revolver manufactured in 1905. Features include a 7-1/2" barrel, single action, six shot, caliber .44-40, blued finish, and case colored frame and hammer. All matching numbers. The left side of the barrel is stamped "Colt Frontier Six Shooter". The barrel retains approximately 25% original factory blue with the balance a smooth gun metal grey. Cylinder has traces of blue in the flutes. Frame has traces of color in the recesses. The grip straps are basically gun metal grey. Grips are a pair of vintage stag that fit fairly well. Gun indexes properly with all four clicks. Strong bore with some light frosting. Nice looking early cowboy gun in popular caliber that should be a good shooter.
