Appears to be a Sauer action. 10 ga. over .45-70 caliber. 30" Damascus barrels showing moderate pitting and a dent or two. Rifle barrel has some pitting. Firearm has a side opener with a top lever selector. 13 - 3/4" length of pull. Flip up tang site and a flip up barrel site. Wood is sound with no cracks or breaks. Has a 1 - 3/4" compass inlaid in the but stock. Checkering is worn. Rarely seen behemoth, made for killing the largest game.
