This Colt Single Action Army Revolver is consecutively numbered to the previous lot. It was manufactured in 1956, the first year of production for the Second Generation Models. Standard features include a 7-1/2" barrel, blued finish with case colored frame, six shot, single action, chambered for the .38 Special cartridge, with a pair of smooth ivory-type grips. The barrel is thinning a bit on sides with approximately 90% original blue and cylinder is thinning on high areas with multiple serration lines around the circumference. Case colors are brilliant and screws untouched. The grip straps are a blue-grey patina. Clean bore. Perfect action.
