This revolver was manufactured in 1908. Standard features include a 7-1/2" barrel, double action, six shot, chambered for the .38-40 cartridge, with nickel finish and hard rubber grips. It appears as if this revolver had an early renickel application, but the markings remain very strong. The barrel has 1/4" of muzzle wear to finish. Frame has some minor freckling, as does the cylinder. We can safely say the entire gun retains 85% of the reapplied nickel finish. The hard rubber grips are near mint. Nice clean bore. Solid lock up. Fine first style New Service revolver.
