These early Second Issue Navy revolvers are not reproductions, rather they are a Colt continuum as reintroduced. This fine revolver was manufactured in 1976, third year of production. It is a standard 1851 with a 7-1/2" octagon barrel, single action, .36 caliber percussion, and walnut grips. The barrel and cylinder retain all of the beautiful high polish Colt blue with Navy scene and no drag line evident. Loading lever, hammer, and frame retains all the brilliant Colt case colors. Fire blue screws have never been turned. The square back nickel trigger guard and backstrap retain all of the original nickel plating. This gun comes with an original Colt shipping box numbered on end with white marked, with styrofoam insert and paperwork. In addition, the gun rests in a beautiful walnut Colt display case, partitioned with all Colt accessories. These re-issues are some of the nicest black powder guns ever manufactured by Colt.
