Marble powered amusement with two moving acrobat clowns and three zigzag ramps. Steel and wood, painted overall in dark green. Flat metal clowns are painted white with red and black trim. Yellow stamped "D-I-X-T-O-Y" (vertically in square blocks), "SERIES - 10" (on top), and "DIXTOY COMPANY, CANTON, OHIO" (small letters on metal base). Wooden pedestal for lower clown is embossed "PATENTED/SEPT 17, 1918". Upper trapeze clown flips upside down, lower clown holds bell shaped receptacle in outstretched arms and bends forward, balancing on one leg. Elaborate release mechanism creates repeating action. (U.S Patent No. 1,279,270 - Sept. 17, 1918 by Harry J. Cole, Bennington VT.).

Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
