This lot along with the previous lot are a consecutively numbered pair being offered separately. The gun was manufactured in 1958. Standard features include 7-1/2” barrel; single action; chambered for the .45 long Colt cartridge; blued barrel, ejector housing, cylinder, backstrap, and trigger guard; with case colored frame; polished hammer; and Colt checkered black grips. Gun remains in unfired condition. If there is a drag line, it is barely perceptible. Otherwise the gun remains in as new condition with its brilliant blue and case colors. It is housed in its original black hinged Colt box with proper end label and serial number on label and bottom of box. Box has a broken hinge, two aprons still attached to the lid, and two still attached to the hinge. It includes “Handling the Handgun” brochure. These beautiful Colts are simply stunning and very desirable in this condition, caliber, and configuration, and these early black boxed examples are among the most desirable, especially when you can find two identical matching Colts with consecutive serial numbers.
