This deluxe rifle was manufactured in 1901. Standard features include a 26" round barrel, blued finish, walnut stocks and shotgun butt. This rifle is a deluxe factory engraved offering. It is chambered for the .303 Savage cartridge. British proofed on both the frame and barrel. Has a two leaf folding rear sight. Gun retains approximately 95% original high polish factory blue with a few minor blemishes on bottom of barrel. The finely engraved frame retains most of its original factory blue with some minor high edge wear. Walnut stocks are beautifully checkered, still sharp, with most of the original varnish with the typical light hairline at wrist and frame junction. Sling eyes installed and a small plug where a sling eye was removed. Equipped with a tang rear sight. Strong bore and perfect action. Extremely handsome rifle seldom seen with the British proof marks.
