Fine example of the most used rifle during World War I, the type carried by Alvin York. Chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. Features a 26" barrel. Barrel is stamped "E" with an Ordinance bomb "11-17". Gun retains most of its reparkerized finish. Very good stock with "R.I.A." and "F.K." on left side and no major cracks or chips. Strong bore that could use a good cleaning. Action works fine. Has a "P" in circle on the pistol grip. Nice example of an early World War I U.S. rifle manufactured at the Eddystone plant.
