Manufactured by D.D. Levaux, it is one of the finest quality revolvers manufactured in Belgium, equal in craftsmanship to any English revolver of the era. It is chambered to fire the .38 centerfire cartridge (.38 long Colt chambers). Features a 5" octagon barrel, double action, blued finish, checkered walnut grips and lanyard ring. Top strap is stamped "W. Haw". Gun retains approximately 30% of the brilliant but flaking original factory blue finish with the balance a smooth patina. Walnut grips are excellent with sharp checkering. Function is flawless. Bore is strong and clean. This revolver has the look of an Adam's or Tranter revolver of the era. Lovely antique sidearm.
