.30-30 caliber with a 26" barrel. Manufactured in 1924. This is a standard Model 1894 rifle in all respects with a 26" round barrel, full magazine, blued finish, walnut stock, rifle butt. This rifle is all original and remains in excellent condition, having seen little use over the past 90 years and has never been monkeyed with. The barrel and tube retain approximately 95% original factory blue with some muzzle wear and some areas of light thinning. The nosecap retains approximately 90% original factory blue. Left side of the frame has 80% blue mixing with soft patina. Right side is a soft patina with approximately 30% original blue, some bright. Bottom of frame has greyed out. Loading gate and bolt retain most of their original finish. Stocks are near mint, proud to metal, with just a couple minor impressions. All screw heads are fine and retain a vast portion of the original fire blue finish. Action is as new. Strong clean bore. Well above average with no apologies.
