This rifle was manufactured in 1957. It is a pre-64 Model 70 Super Grade Featherweight rifle with a Monte Carlo stock, blued metal, and deluxe checkered walnut with black fore end tip. It has the blued aluminum checkered steel buttplate, inset sling eyes, hooded ramp front sight, and folding leaf rear sight. Floorplate is stamped "Super Grade". Other features include a 22" barrel, jeweled bolt, release floorplate, and grip cap. The gun is literally in as new condition. A hint of wear on jeweled bolt inner ring. 100% blue on frame and barrel. Stock is mint without a single impression of any kind. Bore is mint. Chambered for the .243 Winchester cartridge. Comes in an original Winchester cardboard box. End label is torn on both sides on the bottom, although you can read the "4" in the serial number and the model. Comes with a Model 70 instruction booklet, an original hang tag and a bolt tag. Absolutely unimprovable lightweight Super Grade. Swivels included but not pictured.
