Left side of barrel is stamped "V.P." with eagle head. Cartouche on walnut stock not visible. Walnut stock is very good with a 2" stress crack on right side, but no other cracks or chips. Smooth buttplate is stamped "U.S." at top. All metal surfaces are a smooth clean gun metal color with no pitting. Perfect nipple. Smooth bore that is extremely clean. Lock works perfectly.
