This is a standard Colt early swing-out double action revolver chambered for the .38 long Colt cartridge with standard 6" barrel, double action, and blued finish. This is a commercial revolver, last patent date on barrel is March 5, '95. Barrel retains 85% original high polish factory blue finish, balance is plum. Cylinder retains approximately 60% high polish blue with high edge wear. Frame retains approximately 90% high polish factory on both sides, thinning on top, bottom, and grip straps. Screws and hammer retains most of the original fire blue finish. Lockup is perfect. Near mint bore. Has after market grips. This is an extremely clean early revolver that would be quite sharp with a proper pair of hard rubber Colt grips.
