This revolver was manufactured by Forehand & Wadsworth. Last patent date was April 20, 1875. Top of frame is stamped Swamp Angel. This is one of the best Swamp Angels we have seen. It features a 2 - 1" octagon barrel, five shot, flutted cyl, single action, spur trigger, chambered for the .41 rim fire cartridge. This example features stunning factory engraving, factory nickel finish and ivory grips. The gun remains in near new conditions, retaining virtually all of the factory nickel finish, near mint ivory grips, near mint bore. Cylinder indexes but hammer will not lock into position and should be an easy repair. These .41 cal. 19 century revolvers are extremely popular with collectors, especially those with unusual names. Given condition and deluxe finish, this is an outstanding example of one such revolver.
