This custom rifle was built using a U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1898 Krag action. It is fitted with the original 24" barrel, custom ramp front sight with blade, custom finely checkered walnut stock and chambered for the .30-40 cartridge. Rear sight has been removed. Metal surfaces retain approximately 95% of the original reapplied blue finish with various spots of wear. Other features include a Lyman receiver sight, quick detachable sling swivels, and a Supreme red rubber waffle recoil pad. Strong bore. Perfect action. Extremely handsome custom Krag.
