12 gauge, cylinder choked, with 2-3/4" chamber, 20" barrel, blued finish and walnut stock. Both the barrel and left side of frame are stamped "U.S." with Ordnance bomb. The barrel retains virtually all of the reapplied finish and has the "WMW" and anchor Naval inspector mark. Frame retains approximately 80% of the original military finish with wear to high edges. It is a semi-automatic. Mirror bore. Perfect action. Forend is very good with no cracks or chips but usual impressions. Buttstock has a pad added and sling eye. Has the "FJA" Ordnance wheel cartouche on left side. Scarce military inspected WWII Remington with Navy anchor inspection mark.
