Between 1960 and 1975, during their Second Generation reintroduction of the Single Action Army, Colt produced a mere 503 short barrel ejector-less Sheriff's Model revolvers. This is one of those rare examples. Standard features include a 3" barrel, single action, six shot, chambered for the .45 long Colt cartridge, with walnut grips, and a case colored frame. Gun remains in as new condition to this day and does not even exhibit a hint of a drag line. Bore, action, and grips are mint. Has 100% of the original blue and case colors. Comes in the original Colt wood grain two piece box with proper gold end label as well as the warranty card, "Handling the Handgun" brochure, and the Single Action Army parts booklet. Bottom of the box is numbered to gun. Fantastic opportunity to acquire a rare and desirable Colt Second Generation Sheriff's Model.
