This pigeon grade trap gun was manufactured in 1954. Standard features include 12 gauge, 2-3/4" chamber full choke, blued finish, 30" barrel with factory duck-bill ventilated rib (missing front bead), full choked, safety is gold plated, jeweled bolt. Upgraded to a No. 12-5 pattern with beautiful scroll and punch-dot background. The right side of the frame has four solid gold mallard inlays, while the left side has two gold inlaid setters and a pheasant. The engraver has signed his work "L.C." on bottom of frame. Stocks features a Monte Carlo pistol grip done in semi-gloss with the most beautiful dark burl AAA clarowalnut with 18 lines-per-inch hand checkering and a plain steel grip cap. LOP is 14" to black Pachmayr pad. Drop at comb 1-1/2". Drop at heel 1-7/8". Gun retains virtually all of the expertly applied finish with little to no wear to the metal. All factory stamps are sharp as new. Wood finish and checkering are superb. Bore is bright. Action is perfect. An extremely handsome pigeon grade trap.
