Manufactured 1896. 12 gauge hammerless with 30" barrels. Raised smooth rib and single bead. Metal is basically a clean smooth grey patina. Two small dents on left barrel. Very good bores. Matching numbers on frame, barrel and forend. Original stocks are very good. Checkering is worn smooth. There are no cracks or chips but there are four small pins on right wrist flat. Original Colt gutta percha buttplate. 14" LOP to front trigger (double triggers). Nice old antique Colt hammerless shotgun. Includes a copy of the factory letter.CORRECTION: Factory letter states the gun was shipped on September 12, 1879 to Tyron, one gun shipment, 12 gauge, 29" barrels, Grade 2.
