This revolver was manufactured in 1891 and is an early black powder model. Standard features include 4-3/4" barrel, six shot, fluted cylinder, single action, chambered for the .41 long Colt cartridge. This revolver remains in excellent condition. All of the metal surfaces are basically a blue-brown soft patina with the majority of the blue still remaining in the flutes. Mechanically, the gun is perfect, exhibits all four clicks, tight lock-up and excellent bore. Has strong factory stamps. Perfectly fitting first generation gutta percha grips with no numbers inside. Just a nice, tight, clean Colt six shooter. Includes a copy of the factory letter.
