This is a standard Single Action Army revolver manufactured in 1900. It has a 5-1/2" barrel, chambered for the .38-40 cartridge, six shot fluted cylinder, single action, blued finish, and case colored frame. This revolver has all matching numbers. Overall, the metal surfaces have a clean smooth gun metal patina. Factory stamps are sharp. Four perfect clicks. Indexes perfectly. Locks up like a vault. Strong clean bore. Original grips have been replaced with a well-fitted set of walnut panels. The right grip panel has a silver star inlaid into it. The front sight has been taken down just a bit. Nice, old single action.
