This Diana grade Lightening was built in 1967. It is in fabulous condition being 100% new and unfired in its original box. The 28" vent rib barrel has one bead at the muzzle. The chamber lengths are 2 - 3/4" and 3" which is stamped on the barrel. The barrel is choked modified and full with perfect blueing. The checkered forend is deep and sharp and rates 100%. The forend finish is also 100%. The round knob short tang buttstock has a LOP of 14 - 1/4" to a black plastic Browning buttplate. This gun features the standard Diana engraving pattern with ducks, pheasant, grouse and rabbits on the trigger guard. The buttstock checkering is 100% sharp and like new. The buttstock finish is also unmarked. A super rare high grade Browning in a most desirable gauge. This gun comes in its original black Browning shipping box with a black envelope and Browning directions. CORRECTION: Engraver signed L. Acampo.
