This is part of the limited series manufactured in Japan. It is a Model 1885 single shot rifle chambered for the .45-70 cartridge with the hunter short rifle 22" octagon barrel, all blued metal surfaces, checkered oil finished walnut stock, crescent steel buttplate, sporting front and rear sights and factory applied tang sight. This gun is new in the box, never fired, with all the paperwork and in the original sleeve.
