Gun features 5-1/8" barrel, semi-automatic, chambered for the 9mm Luger cartridge. These pistols were used by the German military in the first World War. The red "9" was carved and painted into the grip to differentiate them from the .30 caliber standard Mauser. Pistol retains virtually all of the reapplied blue finish, albeit there is some pitting under the finish and some of the lettering has feathered out. The grips are very good, red "9" has been repainted. Very good bore and fine action. Comes with a wooden shoulder stock holster (reproduction). Should make a fine shooter.
