Issued by Smith & Wesson in 1973 to commemorate 150 years of the state of Texas. The basic gun is a Model 19-3 double action chambered for the .357 magnum cartridge with a blued finish, six shot, with a 4" barrel, target adjustable rear sight, and case colored target hammer and smooth trigger. The grips are a smooth rosewood with a gold Texas star medallion. Right side of barrel is stamped "Texas Rangers Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum" and frame has the state of Texas seal "1823 - 1973" all in gold. "Smith & Wesson" in gold on left side of barrel. Gun has not been fired but does have a light drag line. Comes in the original wooden Smith & Wesson display case with a Texas Rangers bowie knife included. Box does have some storage dings.
