This is part of the limited series manufactured in Japan. It is a Model 1885 single shot rifle chambered for the .38-55 cartridge with the trapper short rifle 16-1/2" round barrel, all blued metal surfaces, oil finished walnut stock, curved steel carbine buttplate, post front sight, and carbine ladder rear. Stock is not checkered. This gun is new in the box, never fired, with all the paperwork and in the original sleeve.
