The basis for this pistol is the standard Govt Model 1911 that features a 5" barrel, semi-automatic, and chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. Special edition has the stainless steel matte finish slide with polished sides, a matte blue finish frame, deluxe carved scaled half smooth wood grips with no medallion, a wind-drift white dot high profile rear sight with fixed front, a lightweight aluminum adjustable trigger, lightweight bobbed hammer, ambidextrous safeties and wide beaver-tail grip safety. Etched on left side of slide is "Don't Tread on Me" with a rattlesnake that has gold or copper fangs and eye. Comes with two magazines. Brand new in box.
