Made in Japan. This is referred to as a trapper or short rifle. It is a single shot, falling block chambered for the 45-70 cartridge. Has the smooth satin finish walnut stocks, steel carbine buttplate, 16 - 1/2" round barrel with sporting front sight and carbine ladder rear sight. Gun is brand new in original box. Referred to as original serious with sleeve.
