This rifle was manufactured in 1882. It is standard in all respects with a 28" full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, walnut stocks and chambered for the 45-60 cartridge. The walnut stocks are excellent with no major chips nor cracks, albeit the wood is a bit shy at tang. Overall metal is a smooth patina with sharp factory stamps. Has a blade front site with the Winchester 1876 folding ladder rear. Has a fine action. Very good rifle with some minor roughness. A nice honest old west big bore rifle.
