Offered is an original Winchester Model 61 hammerless pump action rifle chambered for the .22 rimfire cartridge. It is a standard Model takedown in all respects. Features a 24" round barrel, blued finish, plain pistol grip walnut stock, grooved flat bottom forend and hard Winchester logo buttplate. Frame and lower tang retain all of the original factory blue finish, as does the barrel and the tube. There are no signs of wear on the slide. While the rifle may have been fired, it shows virtually no wear of any kind sans a minute hint of thinness around muzzle, most likely from storage. It is housed in its original Winchester cardboard two-piece box. It has the proper end label with matching serial number, dividers, and the booklet. The walnut stocks are near mint with a couple of very minor impressions. It is a beautiful near mint to mint boxed Winchester from the Golden Era of .22 rifles of unsurpassed quality.
