Standard military issue, chambered for the 30-40 cartridge. Features a 30" barrel, blued finish with walnut stocks. This rifle was updated as were most of this model. The stock has a JAS 1900 cartouche on the left side. It is missing the hand guard. The barrel is a fine mix of blue and brown patina with some freckling. The receiver is a faded out. Stock is excellent with strong cartouche. No cracks but usual minor dings/chips. Original sling swivels. Very good bore, fine action. With the addition of a very easily found hand guard it would make a good representative early Krag.
