This is a standard rifle of the United States Army used throughout the second World War. The barrel is stamped R.A. 3-43 with ordinance bomb. The walnut stock has proof P on wrist. Left side of stock is stamped FJA in box along with RA and ordinance weal. This rifle appears to be all original as manufactured with all proper parts and parkerized finish and remains in excellent condition. Has perfect action. Has a strong four grooved barrel.
