This carbine was manufactured in 1929. Standard carbine, features a 20" round barrel, full magazine, blued finish, walnut stocks, carbine buttplate with tang rear site. This carbine was manufactured without a saddle ring and is often referred to as an eastern carbine. Has a standard post front site with a replaced blade. Has a replacement folding rear site. It is chambered for the classic 30" W.C.F. cartridge and has the long forend. The barrel and tube retain the majority of the factory blue finish. The frame has thinned out to a pleasing gun metal hue. The walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal with a few minor dings. Action is perfect. Strong clean bore. A fine, old school, classic.
