This is a smooth bore .70 caliber. Features a 39" barrel, no rear sight, simple post front sight. Barrel is smooth brown patina with English proofs at breech. The walnut stock is excellent with no cracks. Ramrod is attached with three brass thimbles. Rifle has sling swivels, brass forend tip, brass trigger guard, brass buttplate. Left side of stock is stamped "CT". Bottom of stock at tang is stamped "WW". Lockplate is stamped "Warranted". "20" is stamped on lock plate and top of buttplate. It is a flintlock. Very good bore. Lovely original English trade musket.
